The product portfolio sections below provide a brief description of the tool & die solutions that Micro Mold has successfully delivered to its customers over the past 25 years. |

Automotive: Micro Mold designed & built the single-cavity
mold that produces a 20-way connector contains complex circuitry to a
tolerance of +.0002/-.0000, +.0000/-.0002 inches. The mold is currently in production at
Plastikos.

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Electronics: This family of electronic connector
molds was designed & built at Micro Mold and now runs at Plastikos. The close-tolerance backplane connector
consists of over ten cores that when stacked must hold a tolerance of +/-
.0001 inches. Thus, each individual
core laminate must be within a tolerance of +/- .00001 inches.

|
Medical: Micro Mold built three, 64-cavity molds in the late
1980’s to produce this family of medical device components. The customer continues to run the molds in
production. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Telecommunications: Three 8-cavity, full hot runner molds
were built at Micro Mold between 1988 and 1990 and collectively have produced
over 10,000,000 parts to date. The
molds are still used in production and were built to a tolerance of
+.0002/-.0000, +.0000/-.0002 inches. |
